Ah! What to say about this con? It has been a while! It's always nice to visit a home con, that's for sure. Although this year was off to a very rough start.
It started Day 0 when I attended a room party and had a little too much to drink, thus making me sick all of Day 1 and landing me in the E.R.. Turns out after my recent surgery(which, oops I haven't told you guys about! Sorry!) the alcohol had a bad mixing with my medications as well as we think someone may have spiked my drink.. Haha! So I finally got to con at around 4pm on Day 1 and instantly went to work. I promised
and a fan of ours a photo shoot of Salior V and V-boy so I spent a lot of time doing that. I met a wonderful photographer whom we call Ro, and he's a super special awesome sweetheart uber cool senpai. No, seriously, this guy is freaking awesome. He had an impromptu photo shoot of my Sakura which was ridiculously successful! I can't thank him enough!
I asked him if we could possible have him shoot out Sword art photo shoot the next day as well, he agreed! Even though we were over an hour late, and I looked like a hot mess he still did our photo shoot with us. ; u ; I seriously love him you guys have no idea. Our photos look really great and I will for sure be requesting his services much later with more costumes!
Day 2 before our shoot I premired my Allen Walker Crown Clown costume, which was decently popular for the half-an-hour or so I wore it. It was so hot at this con I didn't think I was going to live in all that pleather and fur!
joined me as Miranda Lotto and we still have yet to do our little photo shoot! So I really don't have any photos to show you guys of that costume yet, I have a shoot planned for a later date, and hopefully some will be good enough for you guys to see!
Day 2 much later into the evening I found a Princess Cadence, and Shining Armor in the park, only to find my favor Spike coser
with them. I had been requested to join them as Celestia so
and myself quickyl rushed back up to our room and changed in to Celestia and Luna to join them, and oh boy. They were the cutest things on the planet I swear. Ugh if the heat wasn't gonna kill me it was them-- but I'm really glad I got to spend some time with them and make friends, since I hadn't had the time the previous year to hang out with
like at all. (AND IM SO SORRY IM SO HARD TO GET AHOLD OF AND THAT WE DIDN'T MEET BACK UP AFTER DINNER *SOBS* IM A BAD PERSON)
Day 3 oh boy with drama in the room and the heat blazing I didn't even wear a costume, we only hung around til about two in the afternoon before I had to leave to drive home before the heat made me sick. I hung out near the Red Lion ensuring my roomies had their rides figured out and finally found time to visit the dealers hall which was a massive let down. Not to mention its really strange walking around a con in your PJ's, 4/10 would not recommend.
All in all, I'm glad I got to visit with everyone, I couldn't make it five feet before one of you lovelies or a friend would stop me. <3 I really appreciate all of the love and support I got at this con and I hope to continue making everyone's days a little brighter!
I just received news that I may be attending Rose City Comic-Con! I really would like to meet more of you there, and hang out! Send me a note if you are attending and I'll be sure to see you there!
